Blockchain is 10 years old as we write. It is currently in the “early adopters” phase, just before “the chasm”. This is proven by the fact that most blockchains and decentralised applications (dApps) are just prototypes of things to come. Also, a very small portion of the population (0.5–2%) holds any crypto assets.
Bridging the chasm between the early adopters and the early majority in the technology adoption lifecycle will make blockchain not only a widely recognised solution, but will lead to increased blockchain adoption across various aspects of everyday life. Furthermore, it will make the number of users grow at least tenfold as we have witnessed in all Bitcoin bubbles thus far.
This poses a huge problem. The market will be continuously flooded by newbies, most of them striving to earn money and find an edge, but all the while being exposed to fraud and informational chaos, lacking support when they face any difficulties; basically operating with no sense of security and with little clear and trustworthy guidance. We need to take care of them.
Newbies have a hard time entering the market, as cryptocurrencies, tokens and blockchain assets are technically complicated. Blockchain is fundamentally different from traditional banking and logistical systems but it represents a huge income opportunity, not only through short or long-term investment, but also through trading, freelancing, teaching and other day-to-day jobs.
However, cryptocurrencies and tokens bring, alongside those opportunities, a huge risk of losing money or suffering fraud or theft. And it doesn’t have to be this way.
Enter ccFOUND. A social platform that is NOT another crypto-facebook, youtube or twitter clone for everybody posting about everything.
ccFOUND starts by targeting investors only. We will evolve into an open-themed platform like facebook or google or open several platforms on different topics. But for now…
ccFOUND helps people invest knowledgeably by providing information in the most natural way known to humans: questions and answers.
But unlike Quora or Stack Exchange, questions need to be organised in a way that presents the ones most commonly asked by newbies at the front, with the most specialised or advanced coming last. It is specifically designed to help new people to enter the market and make wise decisions on how to engage with it in a way that suits their goals and requirements.
Experienced crypto users will answer questions raised by newbies and gain ‘reputation’ by doing so. New leaders will emerge and monetise their knowledge in several different ways, including publishing their own online courses, investment strategies, fundamental and technical analyses with content paywalls, and so forth.
New users are enticed to stay with ccFOUND for the long term through a growing database of market reports, articles and news, all written by the community, for the community.
One does not live on cryptocurrencies alone. A principal rule of investing is to diversify one’s assets. The ccFOUND community’s purpose is to create the largest knowledge base about investment — across all asset classes — on the Internet. (And other knowledge bases will be built in the future).
As such, ccFOUND will be a huge information distribution channel on everything connected to investing — but owned by the people. (And everything connected to medicine and other topics — in the future).
ccFOUND will give its income back to the community as users become co-owners of the platform and participate in it actively through DAO mechanisms (which stand for “decentralised autonomous organisation”).
- “A decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO), sometimes labelled a decentralised autonomous corporation (DAC) (…) is an organisation represented by rules encoded as a computer program that is transparent, controlled by shareholders and not influenced by a central government. A DAO’s financial transaction record and program rules are maintained on a blockchain” (source: Wikipedia)
ccFOUND not only teaches about investments and how to achieve financial freedom, but becomes in itself an investment for its users and a way of pursuing the financially-free life, allowing users to earn money, along with publishing and monetising content.
And that is just the beginning. ccFOUND will gradually evolve to become a dominant force in gathering knowledge about medicine, technology and other topics in the future, also implementing DAO mechanisms and allowing for smart monetisation.
